US Senate Staffer Fired After Gay Sex Video Was Captured in Congressional Hearing Room. After he was accused of filming himself engaging in homosexual sex in a congressional hearing chamber, a US Senate staff worker was fired. Later, the employee threatened to sue for his termination.
The two individuals who allegedly participated in the video have been identified online as Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a legislative assistant to Maryland Senator Ben Cardin. The Capitol police have opened an investigation into the situation.
Politico was informed by Senator Ben Cardin’s office that “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the US Senate” in response to his termination.
The event caused a huge uproar since the congressional room where the two men had intercourse had historical significance as a hearing place for the 9/11 attacks and because former FBI director James Comey testified against Donald Trump there in 2017.
That room only held a letter infected with anthrax that was delivered to then Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle in October 2001, just after the terrorist acts of 9/11.In the meantime, Maese-Czeropski revealed more about the event and his dismissal in a LinkedIn post, stating that he was going through a difficult period.
Maese-Czeropski wrote, “While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace,” without mentioning the alleged video directly. “Any attempts to characterize my actions in any other way are unfounded, and I will be investigating my legal options in these matters.”
