Kim Yo Jong, Kim’s sister, expressed her disapproval of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) in a separate statement, claiming that the country was exercising its right to self-defense by having a meeting on the ICBM launch.
According to her, “The UNSC should bear heavy responsibility for the irresponsible acts and deeds of the U.S. and ROK, which have escalated tension through all kinds of military provocations in the Korean Peninsula throughout the year.”
