Katt Williams claimed that Harvey Weinstein proposed oral sex in front of everyone in her agency. Williams revealed in a candid interview with Shannon Sharpe that powerful people pay to avoid discussing things they don’t want you to talk about.
Williams disclosed that Harvey Weinstein made the proposition during a meeting in a major company. This revelation adds a shocking dimension, especially considering Weinstein’s history of sexual misconduct for which he is currently serving a prison sentence.
Williams recounted an incident where she was warned not to talk about Harvey Weinstein before a meeting. She expressed surprise upon entering the room, finding three other surprised people. Williams humorously described herself as the only non-white person in the room and highlighted the absurdity of the situation.
She continued, “And that’s why when I walk into a room, my head goes down. Behind my back, I’m nothing, just a regular old bitter and jealous comedian. But in front of me? No, no, no—the king has entered, and they have to respect him, just because I didn’t take the shortcut, I wasn’t financially funded. They pay you not to talk about things they don’t want you to discuss.”
Harvey Weinstein was arrested in 2018 on charges of sexual assault, and in 2020, he was found guilty of third-degree rape and criminal sexual act. He received a 23-year prison sentence, currently serving in New York’s Mohawk Correctional Facility. He is expected to be released in 2043 but will be transferred to California prison to serve a separate 16-year sentence.
